After meeting with the Home Office yesterday, today I met with Miatta Fahnbulleh, Minister for Devolution, Faith and Communities
Before being elected, I made a clear promise that tackling the challenges facing Gillingham Town Centre would be my top priority. It is a fight I will not give up.
It was really positive to speak with the Minister today and make the case for Gillingham, ensuring our town is firmly on the Government’s radar as an area in need of significant investment as the government pushes to revitalise town centres.
Following today’s meeting, I will be convening parliamentary colleagues to continue making the case for towns like ours, as well as reaching out to organisations with the power to invest in Gillingham and help drive real change.
