It was wonderful to visit MidKent College again, to join their Carpentry students and see them in action. A big shout-out to Jariah, who was an excellent (and patient) teacher! I saw first-hand the tools and techniques he and the rest of the students have been mastering since September. We have an abundance of local talent in Gillingham and Rainham – and investing in local young people and their skills is how we boost our communities and regional economy.
