This Small Business Saturday, I’ve been talking to our amazing independent businesses on Gillingham High Street.
- Firstly, I visited Carmen at Swagga & Style, it was great to talk about the work required to boost the high street and support local businesses.
- I then met with Ryan from Jaer’s Cafe or (soon to be named) Coco Kitchen! The food smelled delicious and I will be coming back soon to sample…
- Finally, I met with Craig (and some lizards) from Petaholics Gillingham Ltd, to discuss the work required to ensure the high street is a safe place for residents to enjoy.
The improvement of Gillingham High Street is a personal mission. There is so much potential here, and I am determined to work with our brilliant local business owners to build a better future.
