On Armistice Day, we remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice and honour all those who defended our country and fought for our freedom. Today at the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day of the eleventh month, I observed a two minute silence & attended a special service at the Historic Dockyard Chatham. The moment was also marked by the signing of the national Armed Forces Covenant. As the Historic Dockyard committed to ensure that those who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated with respect and fairness.
