It was a pleasure to host the Historic Places Panel here in Medway, as they visited both Gillingham and Rainham town centres, bringing together expertise from across the country. I presented on Love Gillingham, focusing on the work being done to support our communities and revitalise our town centre.
I’m looking forward to receiving their report about how we can build on our rich local history and improve our town centres, with a particular focus on placemaking by ensuring residents are engaged in this unique opportunity.
