Yesterday, I visited the First Fusiliers in Salisbury as part of the Armed Forces Parliamentary Training Scheme.
It was important to understand first-hand how we are modernising our warfare and adapting our training to respond to the growing possibility of conflict and an increasing threat from Russia.
As part of learning about our investment in new technology, I got to try out an Ajax tank and also had my first flying experience in a Chinook helicopter.
