On Armed Forces Week, we celebrate our brave service men and women, from currently serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets. I am deeply proud to represent Gillingham and Rainham, which has such a rich military history and a large armed forces presence that does brilliant work for our communities. As an MP, I have also taken part in the Armed Forces Parliamentary Training scheme, learning about operational strategy and the elite training our soldiers receive.
