Having secured 10,000 bricks to be donated from Persimmon Homes (enough to build a 3-bedroom house) to the college, these bricks will now be used to train Medway’s future homebuilders. Whilst visiting the engineering team, Chloe showed me how to operate the lathe. It was great to see our local skills agenda in action, and chatting to our young apprentices about their training made me very optimistic about our future.
