We’re in a complex situation with the recently imposed tariffs, but I’m pleased that the Prime Minister and Business Secretary have taken this measured approach. Strong trade with the US and other global partners is vital, and we will act to get the best deal for Britain. The CBI have praised the cool and calm response of the government, whilst the Tories haven’t got a plan at all.
