The safety of our young people is an issue that unites MPs from across the house. We all want our communities to be safe, for people to feel secure in their surroundings and free from risk of harm. For this to be realised, we must target the scourge of knife crime by tackling its root causes and investing in our young people. Failure to do so means more innocent lives lost.
