It was great to unveil the blue plaque at Sir Henry Tizard House, 23 Railway Street, Gillingham, yesterday. Sir Henry Tizard played a historic role as the first person to carry out serious studies on UFOs for Sir Winston Churchill. He won multiple accolades, including the RAF cross and the Franklin medal and is a proud part of our local history. A big thanks to Degiorgio Properties for showing me around their renovated property, which looks wonderful and will deliver well-needed homes for local residents.
