Further to my question to the Prime Minister on improving training in trade skills earlier this month, it was great to meet with the Minister for Skills, Jacqui Smith; alongside MidKent College Chief Executive, Simon Cook, and Strategic Director of Kent Further Education, Jonathan Shaw.
We had a productive discussion about how we can support young people across Medway to fulfil their potential and how we can improve and grow our training offer.
