After agreeing on a £500,000 tourism and investment partnership with Medway Council, Reform-led Kent Council demanded a last-minute 100% increase in Medway’s contribution, putting the whole programme at risk. Today, I raised this with the Leader of the House of Commons to highlight how this unserious politics puts our local economies and people’s jobs at serious risk.
